In the installation work titled “Form on the Surface – Form in Space”; The reason for the use of a triangle-based pyramid consists of a silent scream of the oppression created by men from the eyes of women. Iconographically, the straight triangle represents the man and the inverted triangle represents the woman. While the straight triangle emphasizes the celestialness of the man by keeping its pointed tip up, the inverted triangle represents the woman as terrestrial. From the past to the present, men have been referred to with features such as power, genius and talent, while women have not been able to take part in this perspective. A map of Turkey was placed on a triangle-based pyramid surface and legends were created according to the crimes women were subjected to. Red areas in exposed crimes; The highest number of femicide in Turkey, orange; wounding and finally purple areas; represents assault and ill-treatment. The parts with mixed colors in places indicate the variety of crime. The falling shadow of the pyramid, on the other hand, represents the place of women in society and their indifference. Like the pans of an equal-armed scale; As the male sex is exalted, the opposite is true for women. This creates a representation crisis. Crimes such as harassment and rape, which I would like to add to the legend, could not be reflected in the statistics because women did not complain. In our country, women say that "whoever gets through" is seen as deserved and because of the wrong approaches of the institutions to which help is sought. The rhetoric of the unchastity of the laughing woman, that the pregnant woman should not wander on the street, the state embargo on the decision of abortion, whether it is a girl or a woman, the state takes care of the child who was raped... once again brings up the legitimation of some of the negativities experienced by women by the state and their devaluation through mass media.
